Our current focus is on "Open GIS" and in particular "Free GIS".


We are developing a location-based GIS server based upon the free software combination of LINUX Fedora, PostgreSQL, PostGIS and MapServer. We are also examining indoor location systems for mobile GIS applications and are testing RFID or Wi-Fi enabled clients.

Another "Free GIS" project involves allowing the general community to update Black Bear sightings over the web.
